Presentation of EASIER at the plan4cet project meeting
On Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24, the Giovanna Hall at the Laboratorio Aperto in Parma hosted the project meeting dedicated to Plan4CET, a European project that supports various regions and cities in Europe in designing, developing, and implementing plans that promote the transition to clean energy based on local needs and possibilities.
Crucial to the development of these actions is the availability of One-Stop Shops (OSS), which provide physical or virtual points of contact that offer information and services (technical, administrative, and financial consulting) to facilitate the renovation and energy efficiency of buildings. The European directives for 2023 and 2024 aim to enhance the role of these OSS in reducing the environmental impact of buildings, a sector that accounts for 40% of energy consumption and 36% of greenhouse gas emissions in the EU.
In this context, the experience of Parma was presented, highlighting the FEASIBLE project (2020-2022), which led to the establishment of an OSS to support condominiums in energy renovation, and the EASIER project (2022-2025). This project will introduce new integrated services to support citizens, professionals, and businesses, making renovation more accessible and efficient. The goal is to facilitate the “Customer Journey” in the energy renovation process, a journey comprising six phases.
Among the tools presented were the helpdesk service, the platform (www.sportelloenergiaparma.eu), and the Climate Condominium Pact, which establishes quality and transparency standards for energy service providers, facilitating access to qualified professionals through the OSS platform.
