REJEnerAXion final conference in Brussels: Shaping Europe's energy future through fair industrial relations
On October 29, the final conference of the European project REJEnerAXion, titled “Energy for a just and green recovery deal: the role of industrial relations in the energy sector for a resilient Europe”, will be held in Brussels at the European Economic and Social Committee (meeting room VMA 22), Rue Van Maerlant 2, and streamed live online. Coordinated by the Fondazione Di Vittorio, the project aims to explore and strengthen the role of innovative industrial relations structures, including social dialogue, in addressing key challenges and seizing opportunities for a fair and clean energy transition at both national and European levels.
During the event, the findings of a comparative analysis conducted across eight participating countries (Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland) will be presented. This analysis is based on 81 qualitative interviews with key stakeholders, 24 case studies, and 8 national reports. The conclusions will include practical recommendations to enhance industrial relations systems and social dialogue as essential tools for supporting a fair and inclusive energy transition.
The conference will feature two thematic panels, one focused on the effects of the energy transition on employment, job quality, skills, and the other on regional and territorial impacts. Key European stakeholders will participate in these discussions, sharing their insights on how to ensure that the energy transition is both fair and sustainable for all.
