RENOVERTY: Plenary Sessions with the GALs

In the spirit of strengthening the involvement of the Local Action Groups (GALs) within RENOVERTY and creating opportunities for future collaborations beyond the project, plenary sessions have begun, involving all the GALs and the Consortium partners.

The first of these meetings took place on June 3rd and focused on the project's developments from its inception to that point. The GALs then had the opportunity to introduce themselves and briefly discuss their territories and main activities.

Following this, the Spanish GALs and the Slovenian GAL provided a detailed presentation of their composition, main objectives, and their level of involvement within RENOVERTY. The session concluded with a brief discussion on how to further increase the engagement of the GALs.

The second and final session before the summer break was held on Thursday, July 18th. This session initially focused on the progress of the roadmaps in the various pilot countries, the extent of the GALs' involvement in the co-creation meetings, and the timelines for finalizing the roadmaps.

After this round of discussions, the floor was given to the Italian GAL, GAL del Ducato. Their representative spoke about their territory, the stakeholders involved, and their mission.

Additionally, they delved into their involvement in the project, highlighting all the activities carried out in collaboration with AISFOR and those planned for the future, including the co-creation meetings and the intention to establish an infopoint at the GAL to assist citizens interested in renovating their homes.

The meeting concluded with a brief Q&A session and a discussion on the next steps of the project, along with the decision to schedule the next session after the summer break.
