AISFOR has been selected by the 2017-2018 programme “Social Innovation to Tackle Fuel Poverty”, launched by the Schneider Electric Foundation, Ashoka and Enel, as one of the 15 more innovative organisation that “offer creative and systems-changing solutions to tackle fuel poverty and promote energy sustainability in Europe”.

41 applications were received and 15 of them where finnally rewarded. The winners coordinate different projects from Italy, Germany, Greece, Portugal and Spain. AISFOR, coordinator of ASSIST and rewarded organisation, will join the the winners in a 12 week advisory process to scale up the impact of their projects.

The programme initiators organised a dinner hosted by Theresa Griffin, member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy of the European Parliament on Wednesday, November 22th, to give project leaders from the previous and current round of the programme the opportunity to present the projects and the challenges they are facing.
